About: Introduction
Dr. Ambika Prasad Dash, FDPM from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, before joining NTPC Business School (NSB), was working as Director, School of Management, Symbiosis University, Indore. Earlier, he was General Manager (GM) of NTPC Ltd., where he served for 17 years in different capacities including being the Dy. CKO of the company. Apart from his stint in Industry and Academics, he has more than 21 years of Administrative experience as well.

Consulting
He has provided consultancy to Teesta Urja and Giriganga, Sikkim for their capacity building activities. His internal consultancy includes implementation of Balanced Scorecard in Simhadri and Ramgundam projects of NTPC, along with the Business Excellence team. He has earlier worked on consultancy projects of IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development), as NABARD Chair Professor.
Mdps And Research
He has produced seven Ph.D. students and guided more than 175 MBA projects during his academic career. Till now, he and his group have conducted nearly 200 MDPs/conferences in the areas of Business Risk Management, Strategic Management and Balanced Scorecard, Financial Management, Project Management, etc.

Apart from NTPC, he has been associated with capacity building activities of THDC, DVC, Mahagenco, Teesta Urja, PFC and many others in the power sector.
Guest Faculty
He has been invited by institutes like MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad, Fore School of Management, FMS and IMI New Delhi to take guest lectures and develop curriculum. Previously, at Pune, he also taught at Pune University (MBA Dept.), IMDR and Symbiosis.
Global MDPs
In 2006, he conducted an International Conference on Strategic Management for Global Competitiveness at Singapore, an international Programme at Geneva, Switzerland on Corporate Governance in 2008, and an international conference on Data Analytics in Dubai in 2014. He has also conducted a customized MDP for REC at France and Italy with ESCP, Paris.
Aicte And UGC
He has been an expert with AICTE for AICTE recognition of institutes and a member of the Standing Complaint Scrutiny Committee of AICTE as well. Earlier, he was a National Expert in Management for UGC for UGC-NET.

Book And Recognition
He got BEST FACULTY AWARD – from AIMA-NMA (2005). He has been recognized as an International Trainer in the area of Finance by American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME), USA. Very recently, he was awarded 100 most influential Director in India. He has published seven books and more than 30 articles on various topics.
