Dr. Prashant Jha

Dr. Prashant Jha has been employed at NTPC School of Business as an Assistant Professor since November 2023. Prior to this position, he served as an Assistant Professor at BIT Mesra, UPES Dehradun and NIT Sikkim for a total of more than three years. His teaching experience encompasses mathematics and statistics courses offered to B. Tech, B.Sc., M. Tech, M.Sc., Int. M.Sc., and Ph.D. students at BIT Mesra, NIT Sikkim, and UPES. Additionally, during his tenure at NIT Sikkim, he successfully organized an international conference called CONIAPS 27, focused on Statistics and Operations Research. He has worked under Prof. Shalabh (IIT Kanpur) in several NPTEL courses. He received his PhD degree from IIT Kanpur on “New inferential toolkits for non-parametric regression” under the supervision of Prof. Subhra Sankar Dhar and Prof. Md. Arshad Rahman.
